Full Membership is open to any Medical Doctor practicing in California.

Associate Membership is available to any Physician outside of California, Pharmacists, Ph.D.s, Infection Control Practitioners & Nurses, and Microbiologists. Membership dues are $125 per year. Associate Membership is also available to Fellows in Infectious Disease training programs, at no charge.

    • IDAC Spring Symposium: Emerging Clinical Issues in Infectious Diseases (2 days) Free Registration & Banquet—Up to 6 CME Hours IDAC
    • Fall Symposium: Free RegistrationUp to 5 CME Hours
  • Speakers’ Bureau
    Members can participate in the IDAC Speakers’ Bureau, in which outside organizations can book speakers as a CME activity.
  • Medicare Reimbursement Assistance
    IDAC can assist members in resolving Medicare Reimbursement issues.
  • IDAC E-mail Network
    IDAC utilizes its e-mail network for emerging disease surveillance, public policy alerts, and exchange of information among members.
  • IDAC Web Site—www.idac.org
    IDAC operates a web site to list symposia programs and links to other Infectious Disease web sites. Members are offered free web page hosting or links to their own web sites.
  • IDAC Resources
    IDAC undertakes various projects to make information available to membership, such as the results of surveys on clinical practices or timely materials on clinical issues. In response to 9/11, IDAC produced and distributed to membership a Bioterrorism Resources CD. It contained up-to-date information on bio terrorism agents, information on hospital preparation and protocols, and power point presentations. IDAC is planning to create a Powerpoint library on various Infectious Disease topics for access by the membership.
  • Fellows-in-Training Mentoring Program
    IDAC offers a mentoring program for I.D. Fellows-in-Training interested in clinical practice. IDAC membership is offered to I.D. Fellows-In-Training at no charge.

    IDAC is a regional society of IDSA and is represented in the IDSA State & Regional Society Assembly.
  • HIV Medicine Association
    IDAC is a regional society of the HIV Medicine Association.
  • California Medical Association
    IDAC is a recognized subspecialty organization of CMA and participates in the CMA Specialty Delegation, CMA Council on Legislation, and CMA Council on Scientific Affairs. CMA accredits IDAC as a CME Provider. Infectious Disease Association of California
